            (you will have to locate it on a globe)

Paragraph (20 pts)

Write two well written paragraphs (at least 8 cohesive sentences) about a famous person; event; or place in your country.  Do not simply re-state the products that come from your country.  Tell us about the president, pop stars, historical events, or tourist hot spots.  Do not plagiarize or ‘copy & print’ a paragraph from the internet.  You must write it in your own words. 

Presentation (20 pts)

All information must be included on a piece of poster board.  You must give an oral report to the class which includes all the information outlined above.  You are the expert on your country; tell us about it as if you’d visited.
