High School Writing

English II has the writing test, so here are several practice prompts based on past tests. Please read the writing prompt instructions for tips on how to score the essays with as little effort as possible, as well as what to have the students aim for (and avoid) to get the highest possible scores. All this applies specifically to the NC 10th grade writing test. There are also tips for writing journals in class.
